Thornberry Ltd Celebrates National Nurses Week

LANCASTER, Pa. (May 6, 2010) - Thornberry Ltd, the creator of NDoc clinical and billing software for hospice and home health agencies, is pleased to celebrate National Nurses Week. National Nurses Week begins on May 6 and ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, founder of nursing as a modern profession.

According to the American Nurses Association, nursing is the largest health care profession with nearly 2.4 million actively employed registered nurses in the United States. More than 2,000 home care and hospice nurses utilize NDoc nationwide. Thornberry has made it a priority to work directly with nurses to design software that helps them better serve their patients.

"Although, we take extra time to honor nurses this week, it is our goal that we honor them every day by providing an effective solution that helps them to improve and maintain the health of their patients," said Tom Peth, President of Thornberry Ltd.
