SAS 70 is an auditing statement issued by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Achieving the SAS 70 Type II Certification proves that DSS has been through an in-depth audit of its control and safe guarding activities related to hosting customer data.

There are two levels of SAS 70 certification - Type I and Type II. DSS has achieved the more thorough Type II certification. This designation indicates that DSS has had the organization's controls not only verified, but also extensively tested during an auditing period.
