Implementation
Thornberry understands that for many individuals the definition of a stressful situation is learning a new computer system! The training process during implementation is specifically designed to accelerate learning curves, lower stress levels and enable your entire team to be productive as quickly as possible. Your operation cannot stop, or even slow down, when implementing a hospice or home health software solution. You cannot afford to have clinicians or office staff wasting a week sitting in a classroom! Thornberry's training will have your staff competent on the system AND performing their regular duties.
Best practices indicate that on-site, hands-on user training is the most effective in developing internal expertise with minimal disruption. Clinicians are trained in two 4-hour sessions. Office and billing staff can be trained in even less time.
Thornberry has learned that most new users need additional training after using the system for a period of time. Based on client feedback, further on-site training occurs 30 to 45 days after go-live.
On-Going Education
In time, you and your staff will want to master more aspects of the NDoc hospice and home health software system. Blended learning courses are available on the client area of the Web site and are free of charge to clients. In addition, Thornberry offers a free Webinar each month to discuss the monthly update changes and train clients on how to use the new functionality. The Webinars are offered in addition to the release notes accompanying each monthly update.
On-site training - designed to meet your specific educational needs - is available to all clients as a billable service.
Thornberry User Conference
A key component in Thornberry's training offerings is the annual user conference. This practical conference is designed to meet the needs of many different users in your organization - clinicians, system administrators and executives. Priced much lower than most user conferences, you can have all key employees attend, enabling you to dramatically improve your internal knowledge at a reasonable cost.
